For instance, you cannot just mix pirated DVDs with original ones in the hopes of them buying them. 

You see, they only get those with an official barcode or ID, and once you ship them your item, they will still have to manually check the condition and give you the final offer via e-mail the next day.

Once you receive the e-mail, you can instantly click on whether you accept or decline the offer. Once you hit on accept, Decluttr will process the payment immediately, and you can expect the transfer to be done within the day. 

However, if you feel that the offer is too low, you can skip on it and have your item shipped back to your address for free.

Through this app, you can get instant access to customer service but, more importantly, use their barcode scanner to scan all your items and see how much the company is willing to pay for your item.

When you use the scanner, it will either turn red or green. Red means that they will not accept your item, but it automatically adds your item to a virtual cart when it turns green. 

Once you are done scanning everything, you can click on the cart button to see the actual amount you can expect for all the items. 

If you are happy with the price, you will be redirected to a page where you need to add your information, such as:

•  PayPay address or bank details

•  Name of charity (if you want to donate the proceeds)

•  Address (they need this because they will send you a packet and instruction on how to ship your items to them)

 

When you are finally preparing your parcel, please note that you must take caution for your items by bubble wrapping them and making sure that the label stickers (included in the packet) are appropriately placed.

For selling cellphones, please note that you do not need to send your chargers, accessories or even put them into the original box (unless you specify that you want Decluttr to recycle them for free).

 

Is Decluttr A Scam?

Decluttr is definitely not a scam. ✅

It is legitimate, and it remains to be one of the hyped-up opportunities today. You see, if you ask me, I highly recommend this if and only if you are interested in disposing of your items as quickly as possible.

However, if you have the time and don’t mind reaching out to potential online buyers via Amazon, eBay, or social media, I think you should reconsider.

The only drawback here is that you cannot really get the best value for money, especially for items that are still working just fine.

I have tried scanning a few WII consoles and found out that they are only buying them for a few cents! Yep, not even a dollar!
