9 out of 10 rookies ask this question daily, but not all get the correct answer. You see, most often than not, newcomers tend to believe that starting an online business is pretty expensive.

There’s no doubt in my mind that starting my business online and embarking on this journey was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Starting a Business With Zero Dollars? 

It’s beyond dispute that many of you that searched the phrase -“How much does it cost to start an online business” are hoping to hear that building a business online doesn’t cost as much. 

 

It doesn’t, but it still costs something. 😬

Before I continue with my blabbering, I just want to let you in on a little secret and tell you something that no other “guru” probably ever will. 

 

Making money online isn’t free. ❌

And there’s nothing wrong with that. 

 

While there are still ways that you can make a quick buck here and there, please be conscious of the fact that you likely won’t be able to start a thriving online business and make considerable money when you’re poor as a church mouse. 

Some businesses may require less significant initial investment than others, but all of them require a great deal of effort and doggedness.

Even I got less dough than a Pizza Hut when I was starting out. I was trawling for treasure, you could say. 

The cost of starting an online business is not as crucial as the amount of work you’re supposed to put in to get to where you want to be. 

Trust me when I say that you can have all the money in the world, but if you’re not willing to dig deep, you’ll, in all probability, never overcome the obstacles and tasks that lie ahead. 

I feel confident in telling you that money isn’t the most significant problem you can have, but lacking motivation and resilience is. 

As I mentioned not too while ago, even I was broke as a joke, but that didn’t stop me since I had no choice but to make up with purposefulness and a little bit (a lot) of elbow grease. 

It’s needless to say that a few hundred dollars go a long way, and they can most definitely help you progress, learn, mature, and achieve success much faster, but then again, there’s more to success than mere dollars. 🙃

 

As I’m writing this, I’m getting sales constantly, and that’s all thanks to the power of the internet, which shows that the scalability and reach of owning an online business are unlike anything you’ve seen before. 

Success is usually the culmination of controlling failure, and one of the reasons I’m still here is because I kept going and going.
