My only intention is to provide you with a truthful review of the website to the best of my ability, so you can determine if this could be a promising source of income or just another waste of time. Let’s get into it!

 

What Is You Cubez?

You Cubez is a PTC site launched in 2007 and, since then, has gained over 999,835 members, which compared to its competitors, is quite a low number. Like every other PTC site out there, it pays its users for viewing ads and completing paid offers. However, what makes it unique is that you can advertise your website, blog, eBay page, affiliate links, or any other legal links within the website.

 

The sign-up process is straightforward.

All you need to do is fill out the registration form, wait for an email, and click the activation link. Once you’ve done that, you are now a You Cubez member.

Practically anyone can join You Cubez regardless of their country of residence. Being 16 years old is the only requirement you need to pass if you want to be a member. However, this could pose an issue with linking payment channels since most, if not all, require users to be at least 18 years old, so take this in mind.

Given that PTC sites are mainly designed for desktop use, I’m not surprised that there isn’t a You Cubez app. While you can access the website via your smartphone’s browser, the smaller screen could hinder you. At least it did me!

When you start using You Cubez, you’ll be given access to three wallets:

3. Cube Funds

You may withdraw the funds within the Earnings wallet via your preferred payment method. Funds in this wallet may be transferred to the Account wallet.

In You Cubez’s case, you need to wait for around 10 seconds and then enter the captcha provided to unlock the reward.

 

Because it requires very little work to complete, it doesn’t pay well. To put things into perspective, in the 5+ hours you’ll spend watching 2,000 ads, you’ll only earn £1 ($1.22), which is absolutely ridiculous, to say the least. 

 

 

Based on experience, similar sites usually have a lot of ads they can throw at you. But this isn’t the case with You Cubez. They have significantly fewer ads than other PTC sites, which lessens your already meager earning potential.

This is the most profitable route to take if you decide to give this site a chance and where the bulk of your You Cubez earnings will come from, but it’s not really saying much since these are also few and far between. When I examined the rates, most of the offers were to be paid in Cube Funds. To determine your expected payout, You Cubez advises users to divide the listed amount by 1,000.

For instance, if you click and complete an offer listed for 3,000 Cube Funds, you’ll earn £3 in your Earnings wallet on top of the 3,000 Cube Funds.

Offers include filling out surveys, watching premium content, signing up for free trials, and installing apps. I recommend carefully reading the instructions before even thinking of clicking on an offer. It can pay off if you follow their directions to a tee and complete the right offers, so please bear this in mind.

You’ll be doing a lot of various paid offers since this is the only earning opportunity within You Cubez that is always readily available.

 

3. Adboard

This isn’t really an earning opportunity but rather a means for you to drive more visitors to your site. As I said, this is where You Cubez is unique compared to other PTC sites. From the name itself, the Adboard is a virtual bulletin board made up of cubes that all lead to an assigned website. Anyone can buy a cube from the Adboard, so if you have a website, blog, eBay page, affiliate links, or any other legal link you want to advertise, then you’ll want to do so here.

To purchase a cube, you’ll need to do so with Cube Funds. But initially, it won’t be visible. The Adboard has over 150 pages; the higher a cube ranks, the more money it is worth. The only way to raise a cube’s value and get it to the first page (where people are more likely to see it) is to add Cube Funds to it.

You can own and then sell cubes on the board if you like, or you can keep them if you want to advertise something, like a referral link from another site.

Essentially, this is just like the first earning opportunity we discussed: viewing ads. But instead of watching videos or ads for a required time and earning money in return, you’ll be viewing a website’s content and making Cube Funds instead.

 

You’ll be rewarded one Cube Fund for every 30 clicks.

I’d argue that the kind of traffic the cubes generate for your website is rarely beneficial. I’m willing to bet that most people who land on your link from the cube are only there for one minute max, which, if you’re a blog owner, can negatively impact your site since it will only increase your bounce rate.

Maybe you’ll get one or two people who are actually interested in interacting with your link, but most will probably be there for the clicks.

 

4. Referral Program

You Cubez’s referral program rewards 10 Cube Funds for every member you invite, so this is pretty useless if you don’t plan on using the Adboard.

 

Even if that amount may appear reasonable at first glance, let me remind you that Cube Funds and non-convertible to cash and can only be used for purchasing and upgrading cubes. This program makes it seem like You Cubez focuses more on advertising links through cubes. In my opinion, this is a horrible method of encouraging people to join the website.

 

 

How to Withdraw Money From You Cubez 

As we’ve discussed, viewing ads and completing paid offers are the two main ways to earn money. You can request payment once you’ve reached the £8 threshold, which is not that bad. Still, considering the time it takes you to earn points, it will take a while until you’re able to withdraw. You Cubez uses Pounds as their primary currency, easily convertible through the available cashout methods.

 

Currently, there are only two available cashout methods: PayPal and Bitcoin.

Although PayPal is a practical and widely used mode of payment, there is a 5% processing fee every time you cash out. To receive compensation via Bitcoin, you must first contact You Cubez support and provide them with your wallet address.

 

To my surprise, You Cubez does not offer gift cards as a payment option.

It usually is among the top reward choices for paid-to-click websites, so I’m disappointed that it isn’t the case here. Including gift cards could have been a good choice for people who don’t like sharing their peanuts with PayPal.

I’d have to say that the payout requirement is steeper than most, and if you want to lower that, you will need to upgrade your membership level. Regardless of your chosen payment method and membership level, payments are sent within 30 working days after the requested date, which is way too long.

 

Upgrading Your Membership

Upgrading your membership level to Premium or Premium+ reduces your payout threshold from £8 to £4 and £2, respectively. The additional benefits include:

The more expensive the upgrade, the more benefits you get. Earnings from paid offers as well as commissions from referrals are increased, among other benefits.

Is You Cubez Legit?

You Cubez is a legit PTC site! However, although You Cubez stays true to its claims and does pay out its users for completing offers, I’d have to say that alone isn’t a big enough reason for you to become a member. I like a few things about You Cubez; unfortunately, the dislikes far outweigh them.

 

I may not have 35 reasons, but I had to get you to read this review.

I found the Adboard aspect to be unique, and there may be some value to that if you want to advertise something. However, not everyone can utilize this feature.

I don’t particularly appreciate that You Cubez keep their founders’ identities under wraps. They don’t even have an About Us page that could give us more information about their vision and mission as a company. Although it may be “standard” for similar sites to keep their founders anonymous, it doesn’t hurt to be transparent and upfront about your company’s corporate background.

 

The Premium and Premium+ membership upgrades sound questionable to me. The only actual benefit I see to these upgrades is the reduced payout threshold; the other benefits don’t seem worthwhile. What use is bonus cash on offer walls when there’s not enough to go around in the first place?

Lastly, suppose after reading this You Cubez review, you’re still adamant about giving them a shot. In that case, I’d advise you to have a reliable anti-virus program up and running on your computer. You’ll never know what link lies behind the cubes in the Adboard. You could be directed to dubious websites with plenty of pop-ups and alerts, so it doesn’t hurt to be safe.

It’s hard to be proud of your earnings from this website. Yes, you earn something, but it won’t be worth the wasted time. At the end of the day, you have the final say, and I just want to ensure you’re comfortable with whatever you choose.
