Unlike other options out there, this company has mixed reviews about it, and you’ve likely stumbled upon a few forums posts saying that it’s a complete waste of time.

But is it really that bad as some portrait it to be, or could it be just another hidden gem? Exactly what we’ll be discussing in today’s Insight Global review.

After going through tons of negative reviews and complaints about Insight Global, I realized that the company might not be for everyone.

They may be pretty quick in the pooling stage, but they are meticulous when reviewing and recommending jobs, meaning that they take a lot of time verifying your credentials and connecting you to available positions, usually taking weeks to months before you get interviewed.

This is quite normal, and I was pretty surprised when I saw people complaining about it online, instantly branding the company as a scam.

But is that really the case? Let’s dig into it.

Insight Global is just like any staffing company where they provide credible and capable employees to their partnered institutions.

They speed up the hiring process with the help of experts who decide which employee should apply for each specific job post based on merit. They serve as your support system for your entire interviewing process from then on.

The company has been around since 2001, and it has many followers on social media, including 7k on Facebook, 7.8k on Instagram, and 7k on Twitter.

This staffing company caters to three different entities:

the job seeker
the client companies
the constants.

Applying is easy for job seekers.

All you have to do is visit their site and give them your name, postal code, e-mail address, and password to sign up and search for open jobs.

Once you’ve found the ideal employment, you need to submit your resume, and their team will determine whether your skills are perfect for that position.

After the review, you will be invited to a short discussion with a recruiter under the company to discuss your skills and schedule you for an interview exercise.

Insight Global had around 44 branches in the United States and Canada and companies under different sectors such as healthcare, retail, I.T, engineering, and even government posts when I wrote this.

While many claim that Insight Global is a scam, BBB actually accredited it, and it holds an excellent A+ rating. It was also featured by Orlando Business Journal and has won over 40+ awards since 2017.

Insight Global Benefits

For any business to succeed, they must get the right people and have the best help in driving the company forward.

Due to recent worldwide events, the job market has become tighter, and you might find yourself battling out among other candidates for a role.

This is why you should apply to as many companies as possible.

Insight Global is pretty famous for several reasons, but from the way I see it, I think that three things make them a good option among all the other ones out there.

The company goes out of the way to train applicants for interviews and even helps mid-level employees in their career rerouting plan.
They are straightforward in telling you whether you are fit for your desired job post and even give you other options instead.
Unlike other companies, Insight Global only works with verified businesses, meaning you will never have to work with a deceptive one!

But just like other entities, the company is not a one-size-fits-all. There are still reviews shedding light on how scammy the whole operation is.

Insight Global Reviews

As much as we want to sing praises about it, Insight Global is a brand that’s quite scary to meddle with.

Just by typing “Insight Global.” into Googles’ search box, you’ll see the word “scam” popping out as part of the auto-complete suggestions.

Google usually gives suggestions based on people’s search terms, meaning that there are a lot of folks out there questioning its legitimacy.

After reviewing many forum posts, client reviews, and current files, I have five major truths I think you should know of before signing up.

Truth #1: Former Employees are Suing the Company

I’m sure you’ll agree that one of the most important things about a company is how they treat their employees. When it’s all said and done, it’s unlikely that they’ll provide state-of-the-art services if their employees are overworked and underpaid, right?

Two former employees of Insight Global submitted a complaint against the company with the hopes of recovering unpaid wages.

Is Insight Global legit This is because they had no choice but to work overtime to reach their quota to the point that they are averaging it at 50 – 60 hours a week.

Despite knowing of the employees’ number of hours, the company did not pay them for the overtime work and has even issued a memorandum stating that they are exempt from overtime benefits.

Truth #2: The Company Paid Back Almost $355k to 14 employees

As if my first revelation wasn’t enough, Insight Global was stipulated to pay a considerable amount after the investigation conducted by the U.S Department of Labor.

Apparently, they have been getting a massive chunk out of every employee’s paycheck they have referred to HP.

They even misrepresented the category of the employees on their record, stating that they are computer operators when, in fact, they are computer support technicians! And as you might know, the salary grade for such is much higher than a regular operator.

Truth #3: Insight Global and its False Promises!

There are quite many cases against this company but among all of those is the case of Toomajanian, where the company promised him to have the same benefits at least for the time being despite being retroactively terminated.

Insight Global stated that the employer will still cover the medical expenses. However, Toomajanian was left with a $13k hospital bill as it was found out that the company backdated the employment and terminated it two days before his actual hospital admission.

If a company can be this heartless and uncaring, I have to say that I will not, in any way, work with them or seek any help at all.

Having said this, I don’t recommend this company to any of my readers since something similar can happen to you too if you choose to proceed with them.

Instead, I advise you to use LinkedIn jobs as a safer alternative, where you can seek the help of a community of professionals.

Also, upon checking the rants on popular forums like Reddit, I found out that most of the jobs available in Insight Global are part-time or contractual.

If this is the kind of opportunity you’re looking for, I suggest you head on to either UpWork or Mommy Jobs. At least in these platforms, you can sit back and relax, knowing that you’ll land a job under a company with no previous cases.

Is Insight Global a Scam?

Insight Global is not a scam, and it does what it says it does, provide jobs to its customers. However, I firmly believe their tainted past is something to watch out for.

The fact that I am also seeing mixed reviews on how it works suggests that there really is something unforgivable about the company.

I mean, think about it.

Would you be willing to go out of your way to post negative reviews on BBB, Trustpilot, and Reddit? I guess people really want the truth to be told.

Don’t let this discourage you since there are still many options that offer equal, if not better, opportunities. The internet is your oyster, and there are tons of other things that you can do to make more money on the side.
