I came across this website quite by accident the other day while scrolling through TikTok, and since it seemed way too good to be true, I decided to look into it to see what’s it all about and to find out if Elon Musk indeed became so generous.

I’ll be honest with you from the very beginning by letting you know that this website is a complete scam from start to finish. If you do decide to enroll in this giveaway, your computer will most likely become infected with a virus, and even worse, you’ll be left out without your precious Bitcoins. – not what you need. 

 

There are many indications that musk2xf.com is a scam. 

First of all, you really have to be a bit loony to think that you can double your crypto wealth just by donating a certain amount of cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, the whole concept of crypto coins doesn’t work that way, although I admit it would be great if you could really get rich this quickly and effortlessly.

There is a site called Who.is that is basically a record listing that identifies who owns a particular website and domain and shows you how to get in contact with them. By searching the whois database, you can discover pretty much everything about a specific site and the people behind it. With a single search, you can quickly find whether a site is true to its claims or not, which is exactly what I did.

 

The scammers behind this paid a small sum to stay anonymous. 

After checking this website, I saw that musk2xf.com was created just a few days ago, on the 25th of July 2022. This site has a very low domain authority, meaning that whoever’s behind it will most probably try to scam you and steal your coins. 

 

The beauty of the blockchain system is that everything is public. 

If you visit BTC.explore and type in the address that this website tells you to send the coins to, you’ll see a history of all the transactions. The weird thing is that the number of transactions on BTC.explore doesn’t match the number of transactions on their website, meaning they’re clearly lying about their generosity.
