Joshua T. Osborne Bad Ass Marketers Review

Joshua T. Osbornes’ Bad Ass Marketers program was created in 2019 and is marketed as a course designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and freelancers. 

From the name itself, it touches on critical aspects of online marketing and shows you how to run your own digital marketing business “smarter, faster, and better” through a series of coaching sessions and video materials. 

It’s basically an online training course that teaches you how to earn recurring monthly income through a digital real estate business model. 

After Joshua mastered the art of digital real estate, he decided to make some money by teaching his secrets to others through his own course. 

Unlike other similar courses, he takes things a step further and goes into depth about what it takes to succeed in this business line while teaching you all sorts of things like: 

1. How to find and land clients 
2. The Golden Mindset you need to have 
3. Website development, from start to finish 
4. Google my business + how to get listed on Google
5. Facebook Ads + Google Ads 
6. ON-page + OFF-page SEO 
7. The business value of customer trust 
8. Client retention with e-mail sequences 
9. Company creation + contracts
10. Hiring and outsourcing. 

The Bad-Ass Marketers course emphasizes teaching you how to be the “know it all” guy because that’s precisely what today’s companies are into.

Usually, well-versed marketers only focus on one aspect of attracting clients, whether that’d be through Google Ads or cold e-mailing.

Joshua thinks this is an outdated way of running a business and believes you’ll have much better success if you simply learn it all from the get-go.

What’s really cool about this course is that it focuses on the crucial, usually-neglected part of running an online business: client attraction.

I’ve reviewed hundreds of courses, but none of them actually teach you how to land clients, but instead only show you how to set up ads and those kinds of things.

Joshua took things further by making sure you understand each step of client acquisition by guiding you on positioning yourself, listening, closing, and following up.

He shares the exact step-by-step process of what he does to lure hundreds of extremely interested clients and, more importantly, teaches you how to keep them so they continue to make you money for years to come. (retention > acquisition)

Another crucial module of this training is the “Agency Lead Generation” one because it teaches you how to land clients for your digital marketing company.

 

Other similar courses usually show you how to go out there and land clients for other people’s businesses but forget to show you how to do it on your own.

Joshua also makes sure that you understand how necessary client retention is because what’s the point of landing clients if you can’t keep them, right?

He does this by providing you with all the files that teach you how to follow through, update, and upsell your clients by delivering value.

Another cool thing about this course is that you’ll get all the contracts you need to make a deal with someone successfully, + Joshua will show you what legal steps you need to take to get your money if you have somebody that doesn’t want to pay you.

Last but not least, I’m assuming you’re getting involved in this business because of the freedom it provides, but you must know that hiring and outsourcing others to do the work for you is the only way you’ll avoid doing it yourself.

There’s also a module that teaches you how to do all of that, and there’s absolutely no need to worry about it since it’s thorough and perfectly laid out, step-by-step.

 

Is Bad Ass Marketers for Real Estate Investing?

Another thing we should quickly discuss is the fact that people on Reddit thought that the Bad Ass Marketers course is a course for real estate investing. .”

Well, allow me to clarify that this is not the case.

 

The term “real estate” refers to the spot you’re aiming at on Google’s first page. 

Joshua is basically trying to say that you’ll learn how to snag a spot on Google’s first page and earn from it in the same way you’re making dough from real estate.

So, NO, Bad Ass Marketers has nothing to do with real estate investing.

 

What is Bad Ass Marketers (BAM) All About?

The Bad-Ass Marketers program is technically a digital marketing course that teaches you how to connect clients with services they may need.

The whole idea is to understand how to create digital properties A.K. websites and rent them out to people who own brick and mortar businesses and offer everyday services like carpet cleaning, truck towing, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

Using unique links, the owners of these businesses (that you rented out the websites to) will then be able to see that your marketing efforts are responsible for their sales.

 

The process is pretty straightforward, and I’ll break it down for you.

The first thing you need to do is identify phone-driven businesses hungry for leads and analyze the market to see how difficult it will be to rank in that niche.

Once you’ve pinpointed the businesses you want to work with, whether it’d be pizza shops or sewing salons, you need to create a website and rank it on Google’s first page using Joshuas’ tips, tricks, and techniques.

Once your site is ranked and ready to go, you’ll then rent it out to qualified local businesses within your chosen niche, usually for $500-2000 a month.

 

The potential is endless as there are millions of markets to work within, and you can quickly scale up since most of the income is passive.

 

How to Get Started With BAM? 

So, the first thing you should do is visit BAM University and sign up by filling out a simple 1-minute form. 

Once you’ve submitted it, you can expect a call from one of their coaches, who will explain what BAM is all about and give you a rundown of what to expect. 

This is also where they’ll reveal the courses’ price, but please note that the price is different for everyone, depending on their skills and experience level. 

If you’re a complete newbie with zero understanding of how marketing works, then the price will likely be higher, usually reaching a whopping $7K. 

At the same time, if you’re somewhat skilled and knowledgeable about the topics, you’ll likely get a slashed price of up to five thousand dollars.

I still haven’t met anyone that’s bought the course for less than $5K, so please don’t get your hopes up thinking you’ll get it for cheaper. (because you won’t)  

 

What I find interesting, though, is that there is no real difference between whether you pay 7k or 5k. You’ll still get the same content without any freebies or extras! 

The best thing you can do is ask them to lower the price and don’t be surprised if they agree, considering that this guy did the same. 

The good thing is that the company also offers scholarships and flexible payment terms, but this really depends on the coach you are speaking with. 

There is no standard for this.

 

Why Focus on Lead Generation?

So, you want to know why lead generation is so important? Well, let’s allow these statistics to speak for themselves: 

1. 61% of owners consider lead-gen as the biggest challenge. 
2. 53% of the marketing budget is spent directly on lead-gen. 
3. Nurtured leads can generate 20% to as high as 50% more sales.

 

In other words, lead generation is the bloodline of any business. 

You might need a product, but that alone is not enough to make you rich. Someone needs to buy what you’re offering, and that’s why generating leads is necessary. 

Take note, though, that lead generation is not just about stimulating interest and driving people to like your page. 

Your focus here should be on getting high-quality leads, which means that these people must have at least a 70% chance of buying your products or services. 

Therefore, your marketing strategy should be a bit personalized and designed for these target clients. Technically, you will need to do the following steps: 

1. Define your target audience.
2. Identify details about your qualified leads. 
3. Know exactly how to nurture leads. 
4. Know when to send them to the sales page. 
5. Consistently updated your inbound and outbound marketing plan.
6. Measure and optimize your lead generation strategy.

Thankfully, the Bad Ass Marketers university really explained all these details in their courses and so much more. 

Joshua also motivates his students to try and create their own lead generation business today since this is one of the hottest trends today.

 

Who is Joshua T. Osborne?

I believe that a course’s quality is only as good as its creator.

In this part of the review, allow me to share with you what I know about Joshua, his past, and ultimately let you know whether he’s credible or not.

To start off, Joshua is your typical rags to riches story because he had a rough upbringing and even did jail time at one point in his life. 

 

He is best known as a growth expert and a whiz in digital marketing. 

Part of the reason he understands the tech field is that he finished a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Colorado back in 2010. 

Today, he teaches several niches, including:

1. Digital real estate
2. Sales meeting cadence
3. Closing
4. Social advertisements
5. Cold calling
6. Prospecting
7. Leads
8. E-mail outreach.

 

A little-known fact: he’ll be releasing a book – Take Back the Pen – that is geared towards empowering up-and-coming entrepreneurs and new agency owners. 

 

There’s no official release date yet, but it seems that it’s packing a lot of info about his life’s story and his 6-step framework for sales.

 

But the real question is – is Joshua T. Osborne legit? 

Well, as of late, he hasn’t been mentioned by any news outlet, nor is his course rated as one of the best by other prominent sites. The only guy that consistently praises him is Grant Cardone, usually on his Youtube channel. 

I’m not saying he’s a scammer, but as a client acquisition expert, you would really expect him to be all over the place, right? 

Why settle for someone good but still unknown in the field when you can go after cheaper courses from companies or personalities who are already well-established? 

 

Is Bad Ass Marketers a Scam?

While the name BAM rhymes with scam, I have to say that’s not the case here. The Bad Ass Marketers course is legit and offers excellent and practical pieces of training that are easy to digest, especially as a complete digital marketing newbie. 

However, I don’t necessarily recommend it because I’m already familiar with another course that teaches the exact same thing for the same price, but better.
