You can earn anywhere between $1 to as high as $20 per survey, but the exact figures may depend on certain aspects set out by the companies, such as age, educational attainment, income bracket, and so on.

All the company has to do is sign up for a partnership with them, set up the parameters on the type of users they want to use the platform, and then wait for the complete results.

The Testing Time platform comprises people from across the globe, and they come from several fields. 

While they have strict policies when hiring people, the company remains professional and does not have any adverse reports in terms of payment. 

Perhaps this is the reason why they got a stellar 4.6-star rating on Trustpilot, 4.8 stars on Google Reviews, and an impressive social media following (94k on Facebook, 2.5k on Instagram, and 10.7k on Twitter).

Given such a number of followers, there’s no denying that the company is well known in the field, and that’s one of the reasons they are connected to some of the biggest brands like Logitech, Ikea, Microsoft, AXA, and startups companies.

The tests can go anywhere between 10 minutes for surveys to a maximum of 90 minutes for video calls. 

Another major thing to remember here is that the company does not guarantee that you will have tests every single day as the tests are also dependent on geographic location. 

Also, your earnings are not standard as the third-party company sets them, and they are dependent on the following:

1. The complexity of the research
2. The parameters set up 
3. The length of a particular test
4. Your suitability to the test
5. Your equipment  

Equipment is a factor because some companies will require you to do the test using a particular model of a phone, desktop, or via video call. 

Once you have completed a test and get your answers verified, your money will be credited to your account after 5-10 days, and you can have it withdrawn right away.

Unlike other companies, Testing Time does not have a threshold account, which means that you can withdraw any amount at any time through a bank transfer (1-3 business days) or PayPal (1-3 business days).

The company does not have any awards or recognitions, but we cannot take it against them since there are no awarding bodies for this field.

I honestly believe that Testing Time is legit and you can find many positive reviews online sharing the same sentiment. 

The only drawback here is that there is no consistency, which means you won’t have guaranteed earnings. Also, if you’re somewhat of a shy type like myself, you might find it awkward to do online conferencing.

 

How Does Testing Time Work?

To join the Testing Time pool of testers, all you have to do is head over to their website and sign up. 

They will ask you a series of questions about your personality and preferences, which can take up at least 10 to 15 minutes. 

 

There is no actual requirement to join them. 

The company only asks that you try to be as authentic and reliable as possible so that their third-party companies can get honest opinions.

If you are invited to take a test, you will have to answer highly targeted questions first to identify how fit you are. 

If they find inconsistencies in your answers or give false information, your test result will be invalid, and you will not be paid. 

This can also harm your chances of further study participation, or worse, they might delete your account from their servers and block you out. ❌

 

If you qualify for the test, you will receive an email detailing the information about the test. From there, you can choose the time that best first your schedule within the allotted week set by the company. 

After picking your schedule, remember to be on time and read precisely what will be requested of you before the test. If there is an emergency, you can cancel or reschedule ASAP.

The company will ask you to sign an NDA to ensure that the information you encounter will stay with you and will not be passed around on the internet. If you do not want to sign the online documents, you will automatically be excluded from the test.

To prepare, take note of the requirements and the video conferencing tool and equipment required. Everything you do online will be recorded, so remember always to provide clear ideas as much as possible. 

A moderator will show up to guide you on the process at the designated time, and the test will commence. After the test, you can expect to have the payment ready within 5 to 10 days.

 

Is Testing Time Legit?

Honestly, I think you can make a decent amount just by doing this in your free time, and there are no contracts involved.

Also, you do not have to worry since you can reschedule or reject their invitation if there is a conflict on time. If you leave one task, it does not affect your credibility or the number of jobs you will get in the future.

 

You will still have opportunities with them in the future.

While we do not know it works on the client-side, I believe they have some sort of user reviewing going on, like in the case of UserTesting.

Therefore, I advise you to exhibit professionalism and to remain transparent at all times.

You can also try to learn about the company you are doing a test on and practice the think-aloud process so that your reviewers can gain valuable insights into the process of how their customers are thinking.

With all things considered, I genuinely believe that Testing Time is a legitimate company, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking to make some quick cash online.

If you are from the United States or other countries, you can still try it out as some tests are available for different nationalities. However, don’t expect to get the same number of test invitations as Europeans.
